after realising that the amount of things i want to change was just too much
to do it all at once
and to keep anything up
for a little bit longer
i changed it
and chose a new approach
I focused on one thing this week
I chose something i never managed so far
but it always took much unconscious energy:
replying to messages and emails immediately
small realistic goal
but apparently unachievable
for me
ever before
and moreover
i kept track of it
to measure if i am making any progress
expectation of myself succeeding was quite low
and it worked surprisingly fantastic
i would say i have a
90% success rate
that is a level of motivation
i never experienced
or at least
not since a very, very long time
however
i was cheating myself
and obviously kept pushing myself for more than one thing
well, if i would give myself an advice?
don't do that!
anyways
i also aimed a big one
but didn't make if official for me
the big one is:
to choose not to be controlled
by events or another person
wow
well, officially i was not counting it as a goal
nevertheless, i was continuously pursuing it
all over the day
today
and this time i cheated myself
with a positive impact
i managed 80%
awesome:
bing-bing-bing
i can add something
i was officially not expecting
to my list
jaja, i can tell myself 1000 times it doesn't make sense to list everything i will do it anyway
so
today i am feeling like a winner
PS:
On top i was thinking to try
if it doesn't work today
don't worry
tomorrow is another day
to really integrate it
into my life
not in theory but in practice
this is a follow up lesson
on the since 10 years ongoing
exercise of moving on after a mistake
actually, super cool
i mean
that i know that i started learning this in 2007
exactamente
oh wow, i really get a more positive perspective on myself
to test my ability to put my experiences
into something I would like to see in life's instruction
if there ever would be one in life
and no, it think we can all agree
it is very likely that there will never be a recipe: how to live life
I made one anyways:

I made one anyways:
but maybe
it is a good overview for me to remember this approach
also, i need to check if it works another time too
for me
and yes, you all know i hope it can be also helpful for one of you beautiful souls
someone who is also struggling with overthinking and an over-average
unrealistic "soon-to-be-achieved-idealistic-self-version"
a.k.a huge gaps between theory and practice of oneself

example for Lily Singh as promised: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlCX41m7T6w
I was thinking of her
and her "technical schnick-schnack"-measuring of mastering a day
you can see in on the right side, it is called MISSION
I literally saw in my inner eye a colourful light
and heard blinblingbling in my inner ear
when i realised how good I lived life today
now, i think i know why she made it!
also, i got inspired by mtkron, a friend, when she posted a quote
which i read differently for the first time
don't know why
but i realised that I CAN CHOOSE not to be
overwhelmed by events or people
i never wanted to choose it before
because
i always read it like
well, this is something other people can do
you probably not, not now or over the next 10 years,
because you are
a veces
very much overwhelmed by your emotions
and need muuuuuuch more meditation
and also, Tony Robbins and his coach team inspired me
I can't find the link right now but it was said that
it is better not to have too many goals
plus
is is better to measure the process
and of my biggest inspiration came
and will always be
from my colleagues at sewa.org
who taught me that it is important to celebrate success
ohhh no, now i have to thank all my friends, especially V. and N.
...and ohhh...well:
thanks to all inspirations!
there are many more people i have to give thanks
some i may even not aware of
to make it short: thank you god!
