when there is a lesson to learn here in Cartagena, it's definitely about letting go.
letting go about expectations. letting go of too much planning. letting go...

I wanted to go and see - just one of the days - dance performance at:
...but somehow, every day something came up. and one day I was already on my way - but I promised myself to act according to my intuition - and just went home because I suddenly felt like it. yesterday, on the other hand, I saw the last bits of another performance while having dinner in Getsemani.
while I was planning to get up early - at 7 am!! - I was so tired for 3 days that I couldn't manage much. then, I decided to get up according to my inner watch like 9 or 10 am and woke up at 6 am! well, I was also tired but at least I could get some stuff done because the internet was also working well that morning.
achja, recently, the internet wasn't working how I wanted it to work. that really drove me crazy.
and getting done my spiritual practice, the workshop on 'calling in the one', writing, dancing and also working on spanish in one day is still impossible. I'm happy as long as I keep the most current 2 most important things going: 'calling in the one' + learning spanish
and like yesterday, even this is sometimes challenging. I searched for a nice place with WIFI!! ..but because there was the ironman challenge - how can they do that in this heat?? www.ironman.com/triathlon/events/americas/ironman-70.3/cartagena.aspx#axzz4RyPFlBsC incredible! - not much was open. but I got creative and found a restaurant where I could use their WiFi and stayed for a long time. at least, I could conjugate some verbs and help one of my new friends with her application for the UN. fingers crossed!!
but part of letting go is also to be surprised.
after letting go of my expectations how my day may turn out there are always sweet surprises along the way... and something new that opens up. and very often life knows better than us what we need.
